Progressive Equine
Welcomes New Clients

At Progressive Equine, we take a whole animal approach to everything we do. We don't just provide medical care; we provide comprehensive, well-rounded equine care, taking the best from Western and Eastern medicines to give our horse patients the best treatment possible for their individual needs.

With combined experience of more than 40 years, our practice has focused on both performance horses and pleasure horses. Because we are an ambulatory service, we are able to visit our horse patients in their own setting, enabling us to see them where they live, which gives us a better view of their particular needs and how we can be of the best service to them.

We have three veterinarians who bring a wealth of experience to equine veterinary medicine. Dr. Kate Barber, a graduate of Ontario Veterinary College in 2019, completed an internship in Southern California at San Luis Rey Equine Hospital. She focused on sports medicine and rehabilitation and loves preventative medicine. Dr. Linda Rydgig graduated from U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1994 and, in addition to preforming traditional veterinary medicine, is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist with years of experience treating competitive sport horses. Dr. Brittany Bazeley comes to us from Napa California. She originally worked at a Sports Medicine Practice in San Diego where she developed further skills in advanced lameness exams and diagnostic imaging. In Napa, Dr. Bazeley is a FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian, certified veterinary acupuncturist, and a member of ISELP.
